Hi, nice to see you here!
I was born in Vancouver, Canada, but I mainly grew up in Beijing, China. I reside in Boston and am attending my last year at Berklee College of Music!
My philosophy for music is to make it more accessible. My goal in film scoring is to continue the legacy of bringing orchestral music to the masses. The chances of people going to a movie theatre are always more likely than a symphony hall. Film combines all facets of creativity (music, visual arts, creative writing, etc.) and I believe that is how all aspects of art can be most enjoyed and celebrated.
I enjoy writing lushful sweeping melodies brought to life by the orchestra or contemporary instrument ensembles. Ever since attending college, I have had multiple original works premiered across Boston. I take inspiration from composers such as John Barry, Debussy, and John Adams.
I am a composer and an aspiring music therapist. Through music, I have had the privilege of gaining a deep understanding of human psychology and interpersonal relationships.
